colours (or colors if you subscribe to the american spelling)
This challenge has ended!
I feel particularly challenging tonight so here is a new challenge for all you challenge freaks.
Choose a base colour (red, green, blue, yellow, white or black – yes I know black technically isn’t a colour) and write a ficlyt that contains just that one colour in different shades. I.e. red can be crimson or burgundy. Extra points if you do not actually name the base colour. Even more points if the story has a twist.

any prequels or sequels will be counted as part of the challenge if they contain colours.

Is there a way to make something part of a challenge and also a sequel to something else? I want to do a sequel to Bennington Sky using all of the purple names I can possibly come up with.

This is a great challenge. I’m tempted to do one for each color in the spectrum but then I’d probably be “THAT” person on the website… you know the one.
