okay and about the punctuation. none is needed poetry isn’t about the form, so much as the way it makes you feel. if punctuation contributes to the desired effect use it. if it gets in the way, by all means avoid it! just came back from new york and i cant wait to grade these!!!! thank you all.

ahhhhh! so cool! poems poems poems. as for those who said all they write is poems, i’ve already written twelve, and such. i will hunt you down and read them all!!!!!!

@Sam, that is because it is a poetry challenge. Grammer Nazis are not allowed in the domain of the poet.
When it comes to poetry you can take everything you ever knew and forget it, there are no rules that govern the poet. There are systems by which you can explain what the poet does, but they are rules they are photographs of the poets work. We murder english so something new can be reborn, we are poets.

I suppose it’s not the content, it’s more of the disregard for spelling and such in the challenge itself… probably doesn’t reflect well on Ficly.

That being said, I don’t care. :D
